Jenkins to run for Westchester executive

WHITE PLAINS – The chairman of the Westchester County Board of Legislators is going to enter the race for county executive.
Kenneth Jenkins will become the third Democrat seeking to unseat Republican incumbent Robert Astorino next fall. Legislator William Ryan and New Rochelle Mayor Noam Bramson have also announced their intentions to run.
Jenkins will make his formal announcement on Wednesday. The Yonkers resident is serving in his second term as a county legislator.
