Greg Farley Is Bound To Try: Egremont Barn On 7/27 And Solo Album In The Fall

Greg Farley is a Hudson Valley born-and-bred musician playing several shows in our region in the coming months -- this Friday, July 27 he’s playing The Egremont Barn in South Egremont, Massachusetts; on Thursday, August 2 he’ll be at Side Bar in Burlington, Vermont; and on Saturday, August 4 he’ll be at Parish Public House in Albany, New York. He’s also playing shows in Woodstock, Kingston, and Rosendale between now and the end of the year.

Farley is a multi-instrumentalist and songwriter who has spent the last decade touring and recording with The Felice Brothers and has recently set out on his own. His solo-LP “Taker Easy” will be released in the Fall.

Sarah has been a public radio producer for over fifteen years. She grew up in Saranac Lake, New York where she worked part-time at Pendragon Theatre all through high school and college. She graduated from UAlbany in 2006 with a BA in English and started at WAMC a few weeks later as a part-time board-op in the control room. Through a series of offered and seized opportunities she is now the Senior Contributing Producer of The Roundtable and Producer of The Book Show. During the main thrust of the Covid-19 pandemic shut-down, Sarah hosted a live Instagram interview program "A Face for Radio Video Series." On it, Sarah spoke with actors, musicians, comedians, and artists about the creative activities they were accomplishing and/or missing.
