FilmColumbia Festival - Melissa Leo
The 13th Annual FilmColumbia Festival kicks off tonight and over the next few days they will show highly anticipated films like Cloud Atlas; David O. Russell’s Silver Linings Playbook starring Bradley Cooper and Jennifer Lawrence; The Sessions starring Helen Hunt and John Hawkes; Not Fade Away – the first feature by David Chase; Hyde Park on the Hudson directed by Roger Michell and starring Bill Murray as FDR – and many other narrative features and documentaries - as well as parties, panel discussions, and readings.
On Sunday, October 21 at 2:30pm, the FilmColumbia Festival presents a screening of Francine – a new movie starring our friend and Academy Award winning actress, Melissa Leo.
Melissa's credits include The Fighter; Red State; Frozen River; the HBO series, Treme; the HBO mini-series, Mildred Pierce; and many other film and television productions.
