Congress is in recess for the Fourth of July holiday. 21st Congressional District representative Republican Elise Stefanik has been traveling across her 12-county district attending various functions. On Saturday she helped cut the ribbon to a new elevated trail at the Wild Center in Tupper Lake. North Country Bureau Chief Pat Bradley caught up with Stefanik to discuss several issues, including her impression of the Wild Walk.
The youngest woman ever elected to Congress, Republican Elise Stefanik is in her first term representing the 21st Congressional district. She serves on the House Armed Services Committee and the Committee on Education and the Workforce.
