A congressional bipartisan task force has introduced legislation to help combat European anti-Semitism.
All eight co-chairs of the House Bipartisan Task Force for Combating Anti-Semitism are original co-sponsors of the legislation, including New York Democratic Representatives Nita Lowey, Eliot Engel and Steve Israel. They say the bill would require the Administration to continue taking a hard look at anti-Semitism in Europe, providing a thorough assessment of trends and outlining what the United States and its partners are doing to meet this challenge.
