Cohoes Robbery Suspect Arrested In Tennessee

The Cohoes Police Department announced Sunday the arrest of a man in Tennessee they say is a fugitive from justice following an attempted burglary in Cohoes last month.

Police say suspect Andy Sousie was apprehended in Sevier County, Tennessee.

Following extradition proceedings, police say Sousie will face charges of robbery and burglary related to an attempted robbery at a residence on Remsen Street on August 5.

During the attempted robbery, Sousie's brother, 37-year-old Daryl Sousie, was shot and killed by a resident, Shawn Rogowski.

Rogowski has been charged with endangering the welfare of a child.

The incident remains under investigation. Those with information are asked to contact Cohoes detectives at 518-233-2146.
