Church Used Federal Law to Trump Local Ones

Lenox, MA – Officials in Lenox Massachusetts ruled last night that a permit allowing a local church to put up another building on their property will stand. The local decision has wider ramifications, since the church used a federal law that exempts religious institutions from some local laws. So the decision could set a regional or statewide precedent.
