Assemblymembers Look to Empire Zone Reforms

Kingston, NY – A program that has created job opportunities in New York is in need of reform. So says a Hudson Valley area assemblyman, who is calling on Governor George Pataki to stop the abuses and seal the loopholes. Others agree, saying the Empire Zone program needs to have more accountability. WAMC's Hudson Valley Bureau Chief Allison Dunne filed this report.
