Anti-gay Group to Protest at Plattsburgh Event

Plattsburgh, NY – An anti-gay activist and his followers plan to visit Plattsburgh during its biggest festival next year. The Kansas-based Westboro Baptist Church's request to rent a booth at the Plattsburgh Mayor's Cup Festival came after the City Council debated whether political and activist groups should be allowed to rent information booths during the event.
