Violence has shut down one of the Capital Region's largest schools.

Albany High School is closed today after a pre-dismissal fight Thursday resulted in the arrest of ten students. No word as to what sparked the rumble, the first major incident to occur on the watch of Kaweeda Adams, named Albany City School District Superintendent in July. Officials plan to spend the day today reviewing video surveillance. Classes will resume Monday. There will be additional police presence on school grounds
