After LeBron's Career High Game, The Heat's Streak Breaks

LeBron James has followed his career-high 61 points in Monday's win over Charlotte by scoring just 22 points in a loss at Houston. The Rockets stopped the Miami Heat’s current  8 game winning streak in the last 34 seconds.

Boston Celtics forward Gerald Wallace is sidelined for the rest of the season after undergoing arthroscopic surgeries on his left knee and left ankle.

Two weeks ago the Syracuse Orange were ranked No. 1 in The Associated Press men's basketball poll and were one of two unbeaten teams in Division I.

The New York Mets tripled Houston 6-2. Baltimore beat out the New York Yankees 3-2. Tampa Bay shut out Boston 8-0. Toronto topped Philadelphia 5-3, and Atlanta beat Washington 8-4.

In the NBA:

Oklahoma City over Philadelphia 125 -92. Houston beat Miami 106-103. San Antonio out shot Cleveland 122-101. The LA Clippers won over Phoenix 104-96, and New Orleans bested the LA Lakers 132-125.

On to the NHL:
Boston Bruins beat out Florida 4-1. The NY Islanders won in overtime against Winnipeg 3-2. New Jersey beat Detroit 4-3. Pittsburgh topped Nashville 3-1. Phoenix out shot Vancouver 1-0. Columbus over Dallas 4-2. Colorado over Chicago 4-2. Carolina over San Jose 3-2. And Edmonton beat out Ottawa 3-2.

For UAlbany, the Great Danes won their third straight game, beating New Hampshire 66-48 in their last America East home game of the regular season.

Top 25 in Men’s College Basketball:

Georgia Tech beat Syracuse’s Orange 67-62. The 4th loss of the last five games for Orange after a 25-0 season start. Michigan over Illinois 84-53. Georgetown topped Creighton 75-63. Baylor won against Iowa State 74-61. And Kentucky bested Alabama 55-48.

Top 25 in Women’s College Basketball:

West Virginia beat Kansas 67-60. DePaul beat Georgetown 91-70. And just like in men’s, Baylor beat Iowa State again 70-54.
