8/6 - Interview - John Kruth
Albany, NY – John Kruth is a musician and author who recently wrote a biography of Texas song writer Townes Van Zandt. Van Zandt was not well known during his life, but his music has been gaining recognition since his death. His haunting country-folk music is said by some to be a major influence on 'outlaw country'. WAMC's Michael Eck interviews John Kruth in this segment. The book is called To Live's To Fly: The Ballad of the Late Great Townes Van Zandt.
