Albany Symphony's Trip to Carnegie Hall

The Albany Symphony Orchestra returns to Carnegie Hall on May 7th. But, they will be giving a sneak preview tomorrow night at the Palace Theatre in Albany. Their Carnegie Hall Preview is an all-American program celebrating the infusion of jazz in orchestral music – featuring Gershwin, Gould and Harbison – with Kevin Cole on piano.

Lets face it, the ASO is one of the finest orchestras in the country led by one of the nation’s finest conductors – Maestro David Alan Miller.

Albany Symphony's March 9th and 10th Presentations

This weekend the Albany Symphony Orchestra will present two quite different concerts at The Palace Theatre in Albany, NY.

On Saturday March 9th, the orchestra will perform Mussorgsky's "Pictures at an Exhibition," and a recent violin concerto entitled “Fire and Blood” by Michael Daugherty. Then on Sunday, Cowboy Dave rides again in a program called “Compose Yourself with Cowboy Dave!”
