About the Bookseller
Robyn RinglerIn 2008, Robyn Ringler started East Line Books to create a haven for booklovers and creative writers in Clifton Park and the Capital Region.

Over the years, Robyn has "changed hats" several times. She graduated from Duke University's School of Nursing in 1979 and worked as a medical/surgical and cardiac nurse at the George Washington University Hospital. In 1981, when President Ronald Reagan was shot, Robyn was assigned to be his evening nurse for 10 days until he was well enough to return to the White House.

In 1987, Robyn graduated from Hofstra University Law School. She worked as a defense attorney in Schenectady, then spent over 10 years as a stay at home mom, Girl Scout leader, political activist, and writer.

Over the past six years, Robyn's articles have been published in the Albany Times Union, Newark Star-Ledger and have been sent out over the New York Times wire. Robyn's Letter to Al Pacino appears in the anthology Women's Letters: America from the Revolutionary War to the Present.
