For decades, the renowned advice columnist answered countless letters from lovelorn teens, confused couples and others looking for an answer. No topic was off limits for Ann Landers - from nude housekeeping to sex in a motorcycle helmet to the proper way to hang toilet paper. Her dialogue with America shaped the social and sexual landscape of America. In an ironic twist in 1975, Landers finds herself writing a column about a new kind of heartache: Her own.
